Shifaa community
The word Shifaa means healing, and it serves as a cornerstone concept of Islam. Allah calls the Qur’an “Shifaa,” and calls Himself “al-Shafi,” or the Healer. We live in an age of unprecedented imbalance and illness which stems from our lack of holistic living. Shifaa is an intentional community which aims to provide space for those interested in living their faith under the guidance of teachers, in the company of like-valued friends, towards one common goal: living Islam with every part of who we are.

We will continue with our book club, which was launched in Ramadan, and facilitated by Dr. Sakib Qureshi. We has chosen the following books for this coming year
Two retreats are tentatively planned:

Shifaa is here to facilitate growth. We do not want to be the same people years from now, with a little bit more information.
We are introducing a concrete methodology of growth with levels so members can track their progress. This will help you see your development and prioritize your wellness goals for the future.
At the end of each year, we send out a post-survey to assess how Shifaa has helped our members throughout the year. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve and serve you better.
